Currently, Centennial Medical Physics consists of three full-time medical physicists, all certified by the American Board of Radiology and approved by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment as Registered Medical Physicists.

Joel R. McAllister, M.S., DABR, CHP, DABSNM

Joel joined CMP and moved back to the great state of Colorado in 2009.  Joel grew up on the West Coast but has family roots in Golden, Colorado.

After undergraduate and Nuclear Medicine training at The University of Iowa, Joel worked five years as a Nuc Med Tech before attending graduate school.  He completed his Master’s degree in Radiological Health Sciences from Colorado State University in 1999.

Joel is certified in Medical Nuclear Physics by the American Board of Radiology and the American Board of Science in Nuclear Medicine.  Joel also carries the designation of Certified Health Physicist (CHP) and continues to maintain his technologist boards (CNMT, ARRT-retired).
